DOG & PUPPY FEEDING GUIDE

A happier mealtime starts here.

There is no single daily amount that is right for every dog or every recipe. Start with the feeding directions on the product you choose, then consider your dog’s age, size, activity and body condition. Keep fresh water available at every meal.

Start with the recipe’s own guide

Feeding amounts depend on the energy content of the specific food. Use the table on your Little Chompers bag as a starting point and measure portions consistently. Divide the daily amount into meals that suit your dog’s age and routine. Account for treats and any other food they receive.

Puppies are growing

A puppy’s needs change as they grow, and large breeds may have different feeding guidance. Choose food labelled for your puppy’s stage and follow its pack instructions. Check their body condition regularly and speak to your vet if you are unsure about growth or feeding amounts.

Changing food

Introduce a new recipe gradually alongside the old one, following any instructions on the pack. Watch how your dog responds and avoid changing several parts of their diet at once. If vomiting, diarrhoea or other symptoms persist, contact your vet.

Older and active dogs

Age and workload both affect food choice and portions. An older companion may need a different approach from a dog with long, active days. Review their weight and body condition, use the product guidance, and seek individual advice for a diagnosed condition.
